Prayer times, Islamic dates and Qibla

Prayer times are calculated astronomically for each city’s location — Hanafi times use the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi method and Fiqh Jafria times use the Leva Institute, Qum method. They are beginning times and may differ by a few minutes from your local masjid, which may add minutes for precaution. Hijri dates are calculated in advance and adjusted to Pakistan, but the start of each Islamic month (including Ramadan and Eid) depends on the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s moon sighting and may differ by one day. Qibla directions are calculated from true North; phone compasses can be affected by nearby metal. For religious matters, please also consult your local scholar or masjid.

Weather forecasts are provided by MET Norway and are estimates that can change. Always follow official alerts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and NDMA/PDMA.
